Addams Family Rehearsal Schedule
Scheduling rehearsals are based on the needs of our show. I will post a weekly schedule until our vocal coach and I have a better idea of our production needs. Please check the Blog as it will be updated regularly. It is my hope that a more solid rehearsal schedule will be made available in Mid-February.
Performers are asked to only attend the rehearsals they are called for.

First Read/Sing-Through Will Be Thursday January 25, 2018 & Parent-Night January 30, 2018
Greetings Addams Family,
Thursday January 25, 2018 will be our first read/sing-through at 3:30-6 in the wonderful Stout Auditorium.
Parent Night Meeting
Tuesday January 30th we will have rehearsal from 3:30-6 with a parent meeting following rehearsal. Parent night is a meeting run by our STC leadership council and will provide parents with an overview of production details and needs. Parent night will last no more than 30 min and will include coffee and refreshments.
A monthly schedule will be provided at parent night but is subject to change based on the needs of this production.

STC Addams Family AUDITION UPDATE!
Congratulations! It was wonderful to see so many excellent performers. Thank you all for attending auditions and sharing your talents with us.
We are not calling back for all roles. The final cast list will be posted on Monday, January 22, 2018.
Our first rehearsal and read-through will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the magnificent Stout Middle School Auditorium!

Synopsis:
That lovable family of creepy kooks is alive and well and living in their super-spooky mansion in Central Park. The Addams family, led by the elegantly gaunt and seemingly undead Morticia and her ever-devoted husband Gomez, is in turmoil. Their daughter Wednesday, now a teenager, finds herself falling in love—a sensation that is unsettling for her immediate family of endearing misfits and her haunted ancestors, returned from the grave to musically guide the family through the mayhem. When the teen invites her new boyfriend, Lucas Beineke, over with his “normal” family to get better acquainted with the Addams household, comic chaos ensues and the Addams family must face the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.

Performers will be asked to sing a short cut from the song, “When You’re An Addams” as their audition song. Below, there is a link to a vocal track and karaoke track to rehearse with. Please note: The vocal track of the song contains several harmony lines and echo vocal parts – please try your best to sing the melody line. For boys with changed voices, please sing down the octave. Congrats on an amazing opening night performance of “The Bullies’ Christmas Carol!”
Important dates and times for our upcoming shows.
Monday: December 18th 8AM call time show will begin at 9:15-30.
Students not attending Stout can be picked up at noon!
Tuesday: December 19th evening show call time 3:45 or students already present can stay.
Thursday: December 21st show for All stout students 8 am call time.
If you can’t attend, we need to know by email baydour@dearbornschools.org
Reminder, we worked too hard to have anyone miss a show. Spring musical casting will also take into account failure to attend a show.

Come out & Show Your Support for our Holiday Play!
The Stout Theater Company has been hard at work for several months now, gearing up for our show, “The Bullies’ Christmas Carol.”
Today’s show has been canceled due to the snow day, but we are still on for tomorrow, Friday, December 15, 2017! We need your support for us to continue our theater movement at Stout Middle School.
Tonight’s show cancellation means our efforts need to be doubled for our success. An additional show will be scheduled for Tuesday evening, December 19, 2017.
Our young performers have worked really hard and your attendance will encourage them to continue to make success stories.
