Letter of the Week

The letter we were looking at last week was the letter J. We’ll review that letter today by writing it in the air! Put your hand up high, make a big line down and a little curve. Now frog jump back up to the top and make a little line across!

Assignment

  1. Read together for 20 minutes.
  2. Draw a picture of something that begins with the letter J. Try to write the word on your picture. Don’t forget to write your name and send me a picture so I know whose it is!
  3. Choose a book in your house and find all of capital J’s and lowercase j’s. Make a tally graph to count how many capital J’s and lowercase J’s you found. Which one had more? (you can use the graph below as an example)
