Winter Fair at Cotter!
Wednesday, December 21st is the return of the GSRP Winter Fair at Cotter! On this day, Cotter classrooms will be filled with FUN activities all about winter. Parents and children from all GSRP classrooms in Dearborn Public Schools are invited to attend. Henry Ford’s time is 12:30-1:45pm.
- When- Wednesday December 16th 12:30-1:45pm
- Where- Cotter Early Childhood Center: 13020 Osborn St. Dearborn, MI 48126
- What- A FUN day of Winter Activities!
This is NOT a regular day of school, please DO NOT bring backpacks. Children will come to Cotter with their parents from 12:30-1:45pm, and then go home when finished.
Pajama Day
Pajama day for Preschool will be Thursday, December 22nd to celebrate our last day before winter break!
Winter Break
Dearborn Public Schools will be closed 12/24/22-1/9/23 for Winter Break. Enjoy the time with your families and we will see you back at school in the new year!
Parent Meeting- January 12, 2023
Our next classroom parent meeting will be Thursday, January 12th at 9:00am and 10:00am. This is NOT a regular day of school. Children and adults attend together at your scheduled time, and then children and adults go home together when the meeting is finished. A Look into our classroom…
These past two weeks we have been doing a lot of activities using the Gingerbread man story! During small group the children used playdoh and Pom poms to make their own Gingerbread Men, then using their critical thinking and writing skills to make predictions about what might happen to the Gingerbread man at the end of the story.
After reading the story several times during the week children used magnet pictures to retell the story in their own words during large group time.
