1. Draw & label your observations.
2. Then write a claim and evidence about what you noticed.
Example:
Claim: Spring is almost here.
Evidence: The weather is getting warmer and I noticed that the grass is starting to turn green.
Challenge: How can you write about signs of spring that you are noticing?
Be sure to use your senses of sight, hearing, touch, and smell to make your observations.
