Good Evening Families!

I hope everyone had a chance to complete the scavenger hunt today and spend some time outside. Please be sure to send me pictures of your child completing their daily activities. I miss all my preschool friends and can’t wait to see pictures!

ABC Song to sing with your child

Shapes

1.With your child watch the attached video on shapes and move along to the video to make the shapes with your arms. https://youtu.be/beTDz9HSNOM

2. After the video talk to your child about the shapes and have them draw the shapes on a piece of paper. With your help label each shape with your child. Circle, square, rectangle, triangle, and oval.

3. Then have your child create a picture using circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, and ovals. They can draw a shape person, a shape animal, or a shape thing. When your child has completed their picture, have them tell you about the picture and write their words below the picture. Make sure your child writes his/her name on the back of the paper. Encourage your child to start writing his/her last name too!

4. Read with your child for 20 minutes.

5. Please share pictures of your child completing the activities with me.
