Parent/Teacher Conferences are on Wednesday and Thursday this week. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s progress in 2nd grade. I will send a reminder note home so please check your child’s folder.

The PTA sponsored  Scholastic Book Fair is this week. We will be going to browse at 2:00 on Monday. Students can bring money anytime this week. Remember to include enough for taxes.

Math – we will be learning how to tell time this week. Please call your child’s attention to a clock at home, analog preferably Image result for analog clock, several times this week and ask them the time.

Thanksgiving Plays – we have started practicing our Thanksgiving Plays on the stage. My goal is for us to perform them for you on Tuesday, November 21, at 10:00 and repeat them at 2:30.

I will let you know if something changes.

HOMEWORK  is sent home in your child’s folder  Monday – Wednesday. It is due the next day. Thursday’s homework is to practice spelling words for the test on Friday. READING is HOMEWORK EVERYDAY!! Students will not make progress if they are not reading at home. Set a time for your child to read and please ask them to tell you about what they are reading.

If you can spare a box of Kleenex it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support!
