PEEK AT THE WEEK
- Our letter of the week was the letter “P”. We read an interactive letter book, sang letter P songs, stamped the letter, and glued down pictures of items that start with the letter to a pumpkin patch
- Our core vocab word of the week was the word “put”. We put items in a jar, put our toys away, put on our jackets, and put bean bags in a basket
- We read many books including Ten Grouchy Groundhogs, How Dinosaurs Say I Love You, and Valentine Mice
- The children made blueberry muffins with Mrs. Gallery, our speech therapist
- We practiced identifying numbers with a penguin counting game and Valentine cupcake craft
- The students worked on color recognition with bean bags
- We worked on our fine motor skills with puzzles, watercolor paints, fine motor jars, and pegs
