Important 6th and 7th Grade Announcement:

Posted by Rola Sobh on November 11, 2015 in 6th Grade, 7th Grade |

Dear Parents and Students,

It’s that time of year again when we count our blessings and help the less fortunate.  This Friday we are fund raising “Hats for Hunger” where students and staff members wear hats to school and each bring in a dollar.  The money raised goes towards families who are in need, especially orphaned children.  We are also hosting our annual Zaman Food Drive which begins tomorrow and ends on the 19th.  We are asking each staff member and student to bring a minimum of 5 cans/bags/or boxes of non perishable food items that are not expired.  It is extremely important to teach our children the  importance of being grateful for what we have and the importance of helping others.  The donated food will go towards making baskets/boxes for families in need in our community.  Last year we donated 5000 food items, our goal this year is to donate 6000!!! Please encourage everyone to participate in order for this to be successful!!!!
