    Hello! My name is Mrs. Sobh. This is my seventh year teaching and I love what I do! I graduated from The University of Michigan Dearborn with a Masters degree in Education- My major is language arts and my minor is science.

    Let me tell me a little about myself☺️ I am married to the love of my life, Mouhamad, and have two beautiful kids, Madleyn, 2, and Baby Moussa ( and yes, we call him that), 4 months. They are my happiness. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, shop , dine, explore new places, and be outdoors! I also enjoy going horseback riding, going for walks, drinking coffee ( lots of it 😍) , Did I mention I love nature! I can basically live outside. The beach is my happy place 🏝

    I come from a big family! I have 5 brothers, 2 sisters , and 18 nieces and nephews ( plus one more niece or nephew on the way). I am the youngest of my siblings and I love it!

    Every child has a right to learn and I have a right to teach! Your child will receive the BEST education in my class! You can rest assured ☺️ since I am a Mother myself, I treat my students as if they were my own kids.

      Mrs.Sobh, when we have to type on readworks for our answer, should we do CER’s for all or just the questions that say include evidence?

        You only need to write a CER if it says use evidence. Otherwise, just answer your questions using complete sentences and make sure to restate the question.

      Safi,
      Your test will be on Native Americans. You will be given some time to study prior to taking the test. You may also research “Native Americans” if you’d like to study tonight. Hope this helps!

    For the Native Americans flip book,I forget what’s major resources means?I tried to search up major resources but it tells “Nature resources” so I can’t see what’s major resources mean?

      Safi,
      Their major resources are the natural resources they used daily. For example, animal skin was used for clothing.

      Jawad,

      You have to write about the Native American Tribes you learned about, draw pictures of their resources and types of homes, and write about interesting facts/gender roles. You should have the reading passages in your social studies folder. Refer to them , as they will be useful!

    Mrs. Sobh, You never put the vocabulary definition for texture, pure substance, or mixture he way it will look on the test on your blog.

      Please refer back to your science homework. Those are the science vocabulary words you need to study for next week’s test. The definitions are in the reading we read together in class.

      Tell me what checks and balance means and it’s purpose.

    And how do you do the restate the thesis with out the thesis statement. Do I not do the restate thesis?

      This is an informational piece. You may use your informational hamburger model ( found in your planner). You don’t have to restate the thesis since there isn’t one to begin with.
      Simply state the levels of government and provide 2-3 sentences about them in general.
      For your intro and conclusion, you may write:
      There are three levels of government( list them here). Then , say why they’re important or give some background information about them.
      For your body paragraphs, write the level and give 3-4 sentences about it.

    Mrs. Sobh, I kind of forgot how to do the conclusion for the writing prompt how-to and mine is how to play soccer. Can you please show me how to do it?

      Safi,
      Go back to what we wrote for your introduction and restate it in your conclusion. For example, list your three subtopics , give an interesting fact, and leave the reader with something to think about.
      Soccer is a sport played in many countries around the around. In order to play soccer you need the right gear, be familiar with the rules , and learn some cool moves/ tricks.
      Something like that but build upon it.

      You may create your own problems. Make sure they are multiplying decimals. Solve 8-10 questions using standard algorithm.

      Soora,
      Since you left early and in a rush, you can either read an article on Freckle and answer the comprehension questions or do IXL for 30 minutes. You’ll still have to do the guided reading tasks but I won’t mark you down. You’ll have until Friday to complete them. Hope this helps!

    Is the homework this? Read Page’s 7-9 for science book, and define energy, food web, food chain, prey, predators, decomposers, producers, and ecosystem. Make a food web about waht you ate today. Is that all if not I can problem solve.

    Mrs Sobh, for freckle the “Energy and Living Things” when I do it, it tells me
    “Ready to start the ELA pre-test? This will only take a few minutes, so try your best” about “The Chernobyl Disaster” but its not showing the passage that Ruby and yanal are doing and I did it so much but its still telling me do the “The Chernobyl Disaster” even for the “Animal Habitats” it told me to do “The Chernobyl Disaster” but I did so much. What’s happening to my freckle? Can I show you tomorrow because when I do science it says do “The Chernobyl Disaster” so Can I show you tomorrow.

    Mrs.Sobh for freckle Ms.Fawas assigned us an article and she said if we get one wrong it’s fine but not more than one I got two wrong and the first one I got it wrong then got it correct does it count that it’s wrong or is it still correct. And do I need to do another social studies passage please tell me.

      You may do science and social studies on Freckle instead since it’s not available on ixl at the moment.
