I found the Conference Sign Up Sheets!!

Of course they were RIGHT where I always put them…just looked too quickly. Oh well, the lost are found!

Can you believe that it’s November?? Time please slow down!

Remember to set back your clocks tomorrow night before you go to bed. Every one seems to enjoy the extra hour of sleep time, except those with toddlers and dogs. 🙂

Here are the time slots and I am hoping that some of you wrote down your times. If so, would you send them to me and I will create a new list. If you didn’t record your time, that’s OK. I’ll give you a new time.

THURSDAY 1:30-2:00 will be our Halloween Parade around the track

FRIDAY Half day for students 11:45 dismissal

PM Teacher Duty Day

Please don’t wait for me to introduce letters, words, math concepts. I post the following topics and teaching points every Friday so that the students can be exposed and work with some of the topics at home before arriving on Mondays. Also, please keep up a DAILY review of all letters, sounds, and words that I do each week. I am building on previous weeks and the lessons. I can always tell those who are reviewing at night, reading their books from their Book Bags, practicing Math concepts (like “1 more than 15” or “What is 1 less than 12?”), making sentences with their reading /writing words. Just 15 minutes every day is such a help to your child and teaches them the value of responsibility to their own learning. Of course, READ TO THEM EVERY NIGHT!!!

Have a good weekend!

Halloween Thursday, October 31

We will have our All School Halloween Parade next Thursday. the Parade will be from 1:30-2:00 outside around the track. The Homeroom Mothers are managing the snacks, etc for our party, courtesy of your party money donations. Thank you.

Students may bring their costume to school in the morning and I will help them change into their costume after lunch. If you’d prefer, you may take your child home for lunch at 11:45 and bring them back in costume at 12:45. It will be an exciting day for “my little pumpkins!”

See you there!

Zoo trip

Thanks to all of the parents who volunteered to chaperone our trip today. What perfect weather!

I thought you would have taken lots of pictures at the zoo so I thought I’d show you what your kids looked like on the bus ride home.

Apologies to Max…he was sitting up forward and I didn’t see him.
