First up I’d like to mention what a great job the kids are doing with their Spelling Words!  Good job all!

Short Week again next week.  Here’s what’s coming…

READING GROUPS- Please return all BOOK BAGS

READING-We will be learning about Ocean Animals…crab, seahorse, shark, whale, sea star   We will be looking for:

Finding the Moral,  Story Elements, Making Connections

MATH-I am sending home a Math Study Guide to work on over the weekend.  This should be a review of many topics that we have covered.  I will be giving them a Math Assessment next week.  Use the Study Guide!!  The Guide doesn’t need to be returned.

My class will be taking the NWEA Math Assessment next Tuesday.  Please make sure your child is well rested and fed.  🙂

SPELLING WORDS-et chunk   met  pet  set   wet  let  get  net  fret    were= 9 words

Today we made an American Flag.  I told them that they could carry it to the Parade on Monday or post it in their front house window.  We talked quite a bit about it.
