Another week has come and gone and we were so busy that I forgot to post my blog!! Sorry!

Here’s what’s coming up this week…

READING-Sea Creatures   We’re starting with SHARKS today.

WRITING-Informational Writing about Sea Creatures   We’ll be gathering information about the creatures of the sea, organizing the information, use proper grammar and punctuation, etc for this week’s writing.

I will be giving them a lot of information and, as always, I will be checking for comprehension.

SPELLING- “ad” chunk words  Dad (MUST begin with  a capital letter, it’s a name), mad, sad, glad, pad, bad, lad, tad      him   his

MATH-In anticipation and preparation for NWEA (week of May 14) I will be doing reviews of several MATH concepts, units, etc.  This week I will be reviewing addition and subtraction problems and I will be stressing to  check the sign. Look for the +  or – sign.
