We celebrate another beautiful, warm week of Fall!  WOW!

Unit 1-“Getting Around Town”  We’ll talk about different vehicles.

READING STRATEGY-Recognizing story structure

WRITING-Writing a List (of vehicles that we see around town)

MATH-Number Line 🙂   Students will be moving along a giant Number Line, discovering numbers that are greater than or less than a given number.  For example,

0__1__2__3__4__5__6__7__8__9__10__11__12__13__14__15__16__17__18__19__20

“Tell me a number that is < 15.”  “Tell me a number that is > 4.”

Book Bag

Parents,

I will be sending home a book bag with one or two books for your child to read with you.  The bag will have a schedule for the bag to return to school.  We will start slowly with the book levels.  We’re focusing on Comprehension, Fluency of reading the text and Accuracy of the words.   Enjoy listening to your child read!

We have a “Pete the Cat’s Shoe Tying Club!”  Look who can tie shoes!  Adriana, Mia, Sarah, Emily, and Lana.  Practice tying shoes at home so you too can join Pete’s Club!
