Week of May 26-29
Hello 4th graders! Here’s your work for this week. Your teachers and Ms. Hammoud and I are working together to make sure you are learning while at home. We will also continue to communicate with you via phone calls, text messages, email and Class Dojo. Your teachers will communicate with you when they have a BigBlueButton meeting on iLearn. If you are in my reading groups, we have a scheduled BigBlueButton meeting on iLearn. Here’s the schedule:
If you are in Ms. Traicoff’s class, our meeting is every Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
If you are in Ms. Beydoun’s class, our meeting is every Wednesday at 2:30 pm.
If you are in Mr.Duering’s class, our meeting is every Friday at 2:00 pm.
If you are in Ms. Silva’s class, our meeting is every Friday at 2:30 pm.
All you have to do is go to Student Portal on dearbornschools.org and select iLearn. Then log in and click on my classes on top. Select your class Sleiman-Your teacher’s name. Then join the Big Blue Button meeting.

Reading: This week we are working on summarizing informational text. Make sure you complete the i-Ready teacher assigned lesson for summarizing informational text and make sure you at least have 45 minutes of i-Ready this week.
Writing:
This week for writing we will be working on our summaries of informational texts. Remember what we did last week with the main idea and key details to include the important information from the passage to write a summary.
