READING CONTEST
The contest will be held on Epic Books. Every Friday, classroom teachers will submit the total minutes read on Epic (for the week) for their class. I will also submit the student in my class with the highest number of minutes using the Epic reading site for the week. The top 2 winning classes will be awarded gift cards each week. The top two student readers in the school will be awarded fitbits each week.
This week, 10 students participated in reading on Epic. Our top reader this week was Hassan Bazzi with a total of 273 minutes. Second was Yousef Aun with 166 minutes. Third was Lucian Angeles with 115 minutes. Our class total was 1093 minutes of reading! It is important that we use the Epic reading site all month to read, so that our class earns many minutes!
