Getting Ready To Return To School! February 15-19 Week 23

Schedule for the week:

Asynchronous Learning Day , Tuesday, February 16. Half Day for Students

Tuesday, February 16, 2021 will be an asynchronous half day work day for all students. No zoom is scheduled for this day. All assignments are in Schoology and on my schedule above. There are 8 pages of work found in the Benchmark Unit 6, Week 2 packet. There are no math workbook pages assigned. I have also assigned the usual Zearn for 30 minutes, I-Ready for 20 minutes, and Reading bookbag or Epic books for 20 minutes. These activities should keep my students learning for the entire morning of scheduled asynchronous-independent work time. I will log into my zoom from 8:45-9:05 for anyone who has questions about the half day. This zoom time is not required. I will only be answering questions about the morning work.

February 17 will be an all virtual, full day of instruction

February 18-19, In person Learning Labs begin

All students will have regular morning zoom lessons until 1:00.

The General Ed in person learning labs will start on Thursday February 18th.  Learning labs will take place between 2:00-3:45 p.m. I will be setting up the schedule for each child to attend school this week and next week for in person learning labs.

Hybrid Learning Schedule Begins March 1

I will have 11 students in group A (Monday and Thursday report to school), and 11 students in group B (Tuesday and Friday report to school). If students are not scheduled to report to school, they will do asynchronous learning at home and have special classes to zoom. Wednesdays will be all virtual with morning zoom learning with all students and zoom learning labs in the afternoon. I will be sending home more information this week to notify each of you of your child’s schedule and procedures for lunch and drop off/pick up. Your child will need a mask, and backpack. I will let you know what supplies are needed to bring back to school. Unit packets will still be provided for asynchronous learning days at home.

Get ready for another short, wintry week of learning!
