Happy Monday!

Just FYI, a new procedure is being put in place. If your child ends the day on yellow, orange, or red, they will be coming home with a note that states why they had to move their name down. This note needs to be signed by a parent or guardian, or they may not have recess until it is signed. Those who do not return it, I will send you a text message personally in the Remind App, if you have it, to tell you it is coming home. Thanks for your cooperation.

In Math, we are continuing to work on numbers in base ten. This week we will work on place value, expanded vs. numeric form, and writing in word form.

In Science, we are continuing to discuss matter. We will be getting deeper into types of changes, physical and chemical.

Social studies, we finished up about the Midwest Region, and we will do one more region together. After that, everyone is going to work on the other four regions in groups.

Writing is a new unit this week, too! We are going to be writing persuasive essays!
