Dear Parents and Families,
This week in Math we will be continuing to work on factors, multiples, and various multiplication strategies. We will also add in multi-digit multiplication problems.
In science, we will be starting to wrap up our life science unit. We will discuss further cold-blooded and warm-blooded animals and traits of all living things. These traits will bring us into animal survival.
In social studies, we will continue to look at how immigration affects the geography of the United States and how the geography of the United States also affects how people live in different environments.
In writing, we will be starting opinion writing. These will range from 2-4 paragraphs, depending on the student’s readiness.
Please be sure to read with your child every night for 20-30 minutes. This is a very important part of the day!
Thanks,
Mrs. Shupe
