Thank you to the families that attended Parent Teacher Conferences last week.  We will continue conferences this Tuesday and Thursday.  Please make sure to come on the scheduled day at the correct time.  Families will receive their child’s report card during conferences.

Students will be taking their Social Studies Unit 2 Test this Friday.  This will be covering everything we have learned about the geography of the United States.  Students will complete activities in class this Monday and Tuesday to help them prepare for the test.

The End of Module test for Module 2 in Math will be next Tuesday about converting metric measurements.

Penny Wars will continue through this Friday.  Continue to send in your pennies/bills to add positive points to our grade and silver coins to deduct from other grades’ points.

Battle Against Hunger begins today through this Friday.  Please bring in any canned goods to donate.  There will be a tally in the lobby of which grades bring in the most canned goods.  The winning grade will receive a pizza party!

As the weather gets colder, please make sure your child comes to school with the appropriate clothes and coats.  Students go outside as long as the temperature with wind chill is above 20 degrees Fahrenheit.  Many students are still coming to school without coats.  If your child is in need of a winter coat, please contact me and I can forward the information to Mrs. Cartier (social worker).
