NEW BELLWORK STARTING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2019

*** Starting Monday– Bellwork will have a Deaf Culture fact. You will need to copy this fact in your bellwork notebook. Ms. Shaw will be periodically checking for bellwork in your notebook for a grade. Please purchase a notebook just for bellwork over the weekend. Students with notebooks by next Wednesday will be given 5 points.  If you need me to provide one for any reason, please see me on Monday after or before class.

Occasionally, we will have an open binder Deaf Culture quiz. If you have done your bellwork, you will be able to use those notes for the quiz.

BOO! Halloween Week!

This week will start out with students presenting their Halloween projects they made in class last week. They all need to present 5 new ASL signs of Autumn or Halloween.

Tuesday: Digital WebQuest in class

Wednesday: ASL Halloween BINGO

Thursday: Surprise Activity

Friday: ASLDeafined.com

Card Marking Ending

Our card marking ends tomorrow. All assessments and projects in the first card marking can be made up for some points by the end of the day Friday, October 4th. After October 4th, all assessments in the past are the final points received.

Good question to ask when a student does not understand when he/she receives a not-so-good grade- “What have you done to help yourself earn good grades in this class?”
