To help celebrate “March is Reading Month,” the Dearborn High School Varsity Football team visited elementary schools. The athletes read stories and discussed the importance of reading to elementary students.
The second grade students at DuVall elementary displayed their land form projects with pride. Kindergarten and first grade students came to preview the projects. Students eagerly explained their work.

It’s time for students to nominate their favorite Dearborn Public Schools teacher for the 2018 Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year Students’ Choice Award, sponsored by the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce, and presented by LaFontaine Automotive Group. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 16, 2018 at 5:00 pm.

On February 15th, Dearborn High School and Michael Berry Career Center student, Chef Will Coleman visited and demonstrated cooking skills for 8th grade Life Management students at Bryant Middle School. Chef Coleman is a senior at Dearborn High and part of the Culinary program at Michael Berry.

Students from Advanced Technology Academy, Dearborn High School, Dearborn Magnet, Divine Child High School, Edsel Ford High School, and Fordson High School are attending Dearborn Rotary meetings this month. 
Adult Education is partnering with Mr. Jamal Al from the Carpenter’s Union, Mrs. Fay Beydoun from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce , and the City of Dearborn to facilitate a Career & Job Fair for our students.
