Dearborn HS Varsity Football Players Participate in March is Reading Month
Imagine being an elementary student and seeing a big, tall football player come into your class wearing his jersey. Then contemplate the sole purpose for his attendance was to read a book to your class. Well, the Dearborn High School Varsity players have continued this tradition. On March 3rd, varsity players visited Howard elementary school for this very purpose. According to teacher, Allison Wolski, “There was a buzz of excitement in our building because of the visit from the Dearborn High Football team. All of the football players and their coaches did a wonderful job in our classrooms. The kids were excited to ask questions and hear a story read to them from the football players.” Way to go Pioneers!
