The social studies project is due this Thursday. Here are the requirements:
Michigan Products
Problem: How can you promote buying Michigan-made products?
- You need to find a Michigan made product. If possible, bring it in to class.
- This needs to be a company/brand in Michigan. For example, you cannot just bring in apples because apples grow in Michigan. This needs to be a company that is in Michigan.
- You will need to create an advertisement to promote this product.
- In your advertisement, you must include:
- The name of the product
- Where is this product made in Michigan?- Label it on a Michigan map
- The real product or pictures of the product
- 3 or more reasons why people should buy the product
Some examples of Michigan brands are:
Ford Motor Company, Sanders candy, Faygo, Jiffy Mix, Kellogg’s, Vlasic Pickles, Bettermade chips
Your must choose one of the following for your advertisement:
- Video recording yourself like a commercial– Share it with us on the Google Drive (Go to dearbornschools.org/students → Clever → Google Drive → File Upload–> Share with the teacher)
- Brochure advertising the product
- Poster board
