Good Morning

Hope everyone will stay safe during this time. Here are third grade plans for the next few weeks. I will be checking the students work and update you with class work. Please check Class Dojo and iblog for further information. Also, I will be monitoring students’ work through the websites. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks and stay safe.

Math-

We are encouraging students to complete Module 4 on their own, so that we can begin Module 5 upon return to school. 

  • Zearn.org (Complete Module 4) Students are also encouraged to move into Module 5 when ready to prepare for future lessons.
  • We will send instructions on how to use embarc.online for Math videos and printables.
  • If students came to get their Learn, Practice, and Succeed books, they can use them to do the worksheets. If they didn’t, we will provide the PDF.
  • We will also send links for commoncoreworksheets.com

Reading-

  • storylineonline.com
  • getepic.com (Now, it is free for parents during the coronavirus outbreak.)
  • Students have their book bags as well.

  • Students will be expected to read or listen to reading for 30 minutes every day.
  • They will need to write a 4-5 sentence summary each day about their reading.
  • Mrs. Kaltz will be uploading some YouTube read alouds for students to listen to as well.

Writing

  • Each week, we will send home 5 writing prompts to be completed throughout the week.
  • Students can respond in a notebook, loose leaf paper, or Google Docs.

Science

  • We will send home the links for Mystery Science that were created to be done at home during this time.
