Spelling Homework : No spelling this week

Reading:

~20-30 minutes –In addition to reading books, students may use  Education City and any reading assignment towards  the 30 minutes of reading .Education City: New website-students have their username and password on their planner.  It is the yellow paper.

~Reading Standard:

RL 3.9 students will compare and contrast the themes, settings, and plots of stories written by the same author about the same or similar characters.

Craft and Structure:

Single subject, homophones, and plurals

 Language Arts: Students study grammar and language review Monday-Thursday.  Study guide comes home Thursday and the quiz will be on Friday. We are focusing compound sentences and commas.

Writing:  Fictional Narrative

Math:Time and Measurement

Lesson 11, and Mid module test

  • Students will estimate and measure liquid volume in liters and milliliters using vertical number line.
  • Students will solve mixed word problems involving all four operations with grams, kilograms, liters, and millimeters give in the same units.
