Parent Teacher Conferences
Homework Packets: Please have your child work on the packet each day. Also, read for 20-30 minutes and fill response logs, students choose only three boxes of spelling activity. Homework is due on Fridays.
Spelling:List#19 – ough and augh
Math: Unit 6 will be all about geometry. 3.G.1-Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories
Prodigy Prodigy is a website that help students practice their math skill. Your child is encouraged to practice math skills with Prodigy.
Mobymax: practice math fluency, math, numbers
Reading: Read every night for 20-30 minutes, and ask and answer comprehension questions. I will be sending home comprehension questions to assist with understanding text. Reading logs and responses should be filled for each time they read.
Book it: March Book it logs were sent home last Thursday. Please indicate the minutes they read for each night.
Writing: Opinion writing-CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.3.1
Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons
Snacks: please send a healthy snack.
