Thursday Activities

Good morning today we are going to practice drawing MAT MAN and our families. It is also a good time to work on body parts.

  • Play with Mr. Potato Head and practice naming body parts.
  • You can cut out parts to go alone with the MAT MAN song.

Don’t forget you can draw a picture of your family and have Mom or Dad write down the names of everyone you drew.

Wednesday’s Activities

Here is one of our favorite nursery rhymes.

Today we are going to work on colors and shapes!

Other activities for colors and shapes:

  • Spell out the color words (it is a great way to practice printing letters). It also works on spacing the letters correctly to spell words.
  • Make a picture using shapes – House, car, truck etc. I drew a house but can’t get it to send.

Great Pictures from Monday’s assignments!

Mohamed and his Mom made dough to work on Ms. Margaret’s OT activities!
Look at Karim’s very busy spider! I love the web the spider made.
Loutfe is very busy working on his writing goal. Yesterday he drew a dinosaur and a bike.
Love the pictures!
Hussein was also working on his writing goal with his brother. Looks like he is practicing his first name. Great Job Hussein!
Shahd busy working on her goals. Learning the letters of the alphabet and tracing them! Love the hard work!
Mohamed’s favorite farm animal was the pig. Good job coloring the pig!

Good Morning!

Here is Tuesday’ Math HOMEwork! Please send me pictures or video of any completed work. Thank You! I will continue to call families today about the Contingency Plans.

8 IS GREAT!

Draw a picture of the very busy spider and don’t forget to add his eight legs and practice printing the numbers 1-8.
You can spell the word spider on your paper and then write or trace the number 8, eight times.
Make a matching game with a paper plate and some clothes pins. If you don’t have clothes pin you can still make the paper plate and ask your child to find the numbers as you call them out.
Use the clothes pins to put the numbers in order. You can always write numbers on paper, legos, blocks or any other objects you have eight or ten of.
The shape of the day is the Octagon! Yes it has 8 sides. Count them 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8

Don’t forget to count as high as you can! Let me know how it goes.
