Hello families,
Spring has sprung! This week in media, 1st graders will be enjoying the story Ice Boy, about an ice cube who wants more out of life and bravely ventures off. We will focus on how his character changes in throughout the story before students draw and write about how they have changed this year.
April is poetry month. 2nd graders will be exploring acrostic poetry the next few media sessions before creating their own.
3rd graders will review digital citizenship skills for the next few sessions before taking their post test in a few weeks. Students will compare the pre/post test scores to evaluate their growth.
Have a wonderful week,
Ms. Schug 🙂
Good morning, families,
It’s hard to believe that spring has sprung! This week in our classes, students will be focusing on problem solving skills and touch pad control by completing spring pixel puzzles. In addition, 3rd grade students will also continue to work on their typing lessons in typing.com.
We will also enjoy Patricia Polacco’s, a Michigan author, 🙂 book Rechenka’s Eggs.
Have a wonderful week!
