2nd graders will sample books which have received Caldecott Awards, selecting a few titles that they may want to check out from the library at a later date.

3rd graders will continue to make predictions for The Legend of Spud Murphy. Characters Marty and Will are changing their tune about the library.

Updates for the Week of February 6

Hello, families,

First graders last week focused on plot- what happens in a story. This week, we are narrowing in on problem/solution with Rosie Revere, Engineer. Students will then use Kami to draw a robot that can solve a problem.

Second graders will practice cause/effect by Back of the Bus, a story that retells Rosa Park’s historic act of defiance through the eyes of a child.
