Hello everyone… Just a couple of reminders

Parent Teacher Conferences are on Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 4:30-7:30 PM.  If I am wanting a conference with you I sent home a conference reminder blue slip on Friday.  If the time works well with your schedule please return the form.  If you need a different time please contact me.  Also, if you did not receive a conference form and wish to speak to me please contact me so we can find a time to meet.

Please return any pictures and order forms this week.  If you plan on ordering any of the pictures fill out the order form.  If you do not wish to order any photos please return the entire packet.  Thank you for your help.

This is our last week before Spring Break.  Spring Break is the week of April 3-7, 2017.  Hopefully everyone will have a restful and fun break.  We return to school on Monday April 10, 2017.

This Friday March 31, 2017 is POPCORN FRIDAY!  Each bag is 25 cents and there is a limit to 4 bags.

We have started learning some sight words and are continuing in learning our Alpha friends.  We are looking at letter Ff and Ll.  The words that we have learned are see, I , a.  Please practice with these words at home.  We are still practicing with writing our numbers and recognizing and counting.

Tonight Tuesday March 21, 2017 is the Science Fair Boot Camp from 5:30-7:00 PM.  Come and enjoy a night of Science Fun!

The Spring Pictures are being sent home today in the folders.  If you plan on ordering the pictures please send the order form/envelope and money back to school by Tuesday March 28, 2017.  If you do not want to pay for the pictures they need to be sent back to school in the envelope by Tuesday March 28, 2017.  Lifetouch will be contacting you if the pictures are not returned. Thank you for your help.

Tomorrow Tuesday March 21, 2017 is the SCIENCE FAIR BOOT CAMP!  Come and see all the different and fun activities for science night.  The event will be from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Come and see how fun it is to be a young scientist.

Also, if you have signed up for the Lindbergh Running Club.  Remember it will be help on Tuesday and Thursday after school.  Remember to wear your gym shoes and bring a water bottle and towel.  They meet in the back of school  on the track.  If there is bad weather the running club will be canceled for that day.

Thank you to everyone who completed our science worm projects.  They all look GREAT!  Please plan on attending the Science Fair Boot Camp on Tuesday March 21, 2017  from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.

Also, PTA is looking for volunteers to help with parent sign in for the future kindergarten and Young Five students at the Kindergarten Roundup on Thursday March 23, 2017 at 6:30 PM.  Please let me know if you are available to help.

Remember if you signed up for the running club.  Practice will be right after school on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tomorrow Friday October 28, 2016 is the Lindbergh Haunted School.  A fun night to experience with the family.  It is from 6:30 to 8:00.

Also, tomorrow Friday October 28, 2016 is the last day to turn in the raffle tickets for the PTA.  Please return any unsold tickets.

Tomorrow is also “Box Top” turn in day.  If you have any box tops for the school to earn money, please bring them to school.

Today I sent home the letter about our Halloween party on Monday October 31, 2016.  If you have any questions please see me.  Also, if you would like to help out with our party I would appreciate your help.

Tonight Thursday October 20, 2016 is the Parent Leadership Meeting in the Auditorium at 6:30 PM.  Please try to plan to attend to find out more about our Leader in ME program at school.

We will be celebrating Halloween on Monday October 31, 2016 will be having a small Halloween Party.  More information to come early next week.  We now have 13 students in our class.  8 boys and 5 girls and ME.

Also, next Friday October 28, 2016 is the Lindbergh Haunted School.

Please encourage your child in practicing dressing themselves.  Our weather will be getting colder and this is a skill that they need to be working on.

Also, I have noticed in some of the students in our class the need to practice coloring and holding crayons and pencils.  Please be practicing writing their name and letters and coloring pictures and coloring their own picture.  I would encourage less time on the computer, ipad, and television.  Please spend at least twenty to thirty minutes with books, letters, and practicing our fine motor skills.  Thank you for all of your help in encouraging your child in their learning skills.

Please, I need your help in reminding your child to keep their hands and feet to themselves.  We have been having a lot of issues of children not being safe with each other.  Also, remind them that we need to be active listeners and listen the first time with a direction.  At Lindbergh School we practice being Respectful, Responsible, Safe each day.  If we practice these skills daily we will be able to attend the success party at the end of the month and go to my prize box on Fridays.  If we cannot follow the rules and be a Leader we will not be able to go to the party and prize box.

Tomorrow is Popcorn Friday 09/30/2016!  If you would like to buy a bag of popcorn you can bring a quarter to get your yummy popcorn.  I believe the limit is two bags.

Just wanted to share with you two future dates…..

On Thursday September 29, 2016 is PICTURE DAY.

On Wednesday October 12, 2016 is our fieldtrip to the Plymouth Apple Orchard.  If you plan on attending with your child please make sure you have completed the necessary paperwork for your background check with the office.  This process takes sometime, so please do it as soon as possible.

More information to come home in the red homework folder.

I just wanted to reminded everyone that tomorrow Thursday September 15, 2016 is OPEN HOUSE!  The school will be open from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  Hope to be able to meet everyone tomorrow night.

Also, please help me to remind the children to keep our hands and feet to ourselves and that sharing is the best when we are with our friends.

Tomorrow is a Leadership Day at school.  This is when we will be showing others how well we have become being Leaders at home and school.  Please remember to wear your blue Leader in Me t shirt.  We will really look like a GREAT TEAM!!!

Also, Donuts for Dads is on Friday June 10, 2016.  If you have not returned the RSVP yellow form please do so as soon as possible.  Also a small envelope was sent home yesterday to collect the money for the activity that your child will be doing with their Father or Guest.

I cannot believe it is June already. WOW, how we have all grown so much!  This is the time of the year when I start to get a little sad because I know I will be saying goodbye soon!
