Hello Everyone!

Welcome to February! This week starts the Scholastic Book Fair. The Book Fair will run all week February 3-7, 2020. The students will go to the book fair preview on Monday February 3, 2020 to make their wish list. If you chose to purchase any books, please return their wish list with the necessary money. Also, if you would like to attend the book fair with your child, they are open after school for you to visit.

There is NO SCHOOL for Kindergarten/Young Five Students only on Friday February 7, 2020. The teachers will be attending a Professional Development.

Late Start on Wednesday February 5, 2020. School will start an hour later at 9:35 AM. The rest of the day will follow a normal schedule.

PBIS Reward Club on Tuesday February 4, 2020 at 3:00 PM.

Candy Gram Letter was sent home, Please follow directions if wanting to purchase and return necessary forms and money to school.

Blue Ribbon School Celebration is on Monday February 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM. If you would like to attend, please RSVP.

Blue Ribbon Spirit Week is February 10 – 14, 2020 More information to follow.

100th Day of School celebration is approaching …. More details to come.

ACADEMICS:

ELA- TH digraph, sight word “on”, long “ee”, et spelling pattern.

Spelling – Hot words– wet, yet, jet Sight words– it, you, in Challenge Words– fret, letter, Two Cold words. Spelling test will be on Thursday this week.

Math – Number bonds- Module 4 lessons 7, 8, 9, 10

Social Studies- Who Am I… All About Me.

Science- Different types of weather and climate.

Writing- Informational – Finishing our snowflake stories.

Leader In Me- Introducing Habit 6 Synergize, First Class Lesson and Assembly.
