Well our last week of school before Winter Break!!!!! I want to thank all the Parents who took time and volunteered for the Santa Shop. Thank you for making Lindbergh School so special.

This week we will be attending the school Holiday concert on Tuesday 12/17 afternoon.

On Wednesday December 18, 2019 is a Late Start day with school beginning at 9:35.

Thursday December 19, 2019 is our classroom Holiday Party. We will be having our party from 2:30 – 3:30. I am asking for no parent volunteers. We are going to have a small party in our class because we are finishing our special gift for our family. We also will be watching part of the Polar Express. We will be reading the Polar Express book. I will be bringing doughnuts to frost and sprinkles and having warm chocolate milk with whip cream….Just like the movie!

Friday December 20, 2019 is the PBIS Reward Club party from 3:00 – 3:30

Due to the party time our gym class will be cancelled on Thursday afternoon. We will be having an extra music on Friday.

ACADEMICS:

ELA: We will be revisiting the letters and sound for B and R. Our sight word for this week is day and we. We will be working on producing ending sounds. Long Ii words. Counting syllables and Holiday activities.

Writing- We are working on a class Informational story about the Christmas Holiday.

Math- We are still working in Module 3. We will be doing lessons 18, 19, 20, 21, 22.

Social Studies- I will be sending home the Trade 10 project this week. We will be doing this project when we return from Winter Break. I am only sending this home just in case you want to work on it. Please do not feel like you have to do this during the vacation. We are still working on Needs and Wants and Goods and Services.

Science- The Five Senses.

Leader in ME- Habit 4 Win Win.
