HELLO

Hello Everyone! Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! “Remember your attitude should be gratitude.” Have a fun and safe Holiday!

Please remember that this week is a short week of school. Only two days… Monday and Tuesday. School will resume on Monday December 2, 2019.

We will be working on doing different activities with a Thanksgiving theme this week! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to meet with every reading group to send a new book and a couple of new words in their word bag.

Also, last week I sent home in their reading bags an orange 1 -100 number card to practice writing the numbers, counting and also covering a number to guess what number is missing or to say what number comes next or comes before. Please keep this card in their reading bag.

Enjoy your time with your families… Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Everyone…. Tonight was the last night of Parent/Teacher Conferences. Thank you to everyone for attending the conferences. I hope that they were beneficial to you. It was nice to be able to meet with everyone and explain and show all of our successes and some areas where we can give a little extra help and support. If I can be of any assistance with learning, please let me know and I will try my best to assist with your needs.

FROM THE PTA….

Hello Lindbergh Families,
Due to our very welcome (or unwelcome for some) snow day….and the cancelling of conferences, we are going to continue as planned with our meal schedule for conferences.  So tomorrow, just follow the dates of the signup genius and when conferences are rescheduled we will repost about the other meal.  Thank you if you have already signed up, if you haven’t but would like to bring something feel free to check it out and sign up.  Also, the teachers always welcome any treats, so don’t feel like you can’t bring it in just because it isn’t on the sign up.  As always, thank you all so very much for your time, donations and in helping keep our teachers fed on these very, very long conference days.  Don’t forget PTA meeting, Tuesday, November 19th 7pm in the cafeteria.
 Kind Regards, Danielle

Per Mrs. Tiba….

Dear Parents,This year we will be holding Student Led conference during your scheduled parent teacher conference.  Please make sure your child attends the conference with you as they have worked really hard on their presentation.  There will be allotted time during the conference for the parent and teacher to speak if needed.
As a result of this change, we will be sending home report cards on Thursday, November 7th with your child.  Please sign the envelope and return the envelope to school.  Sending the report cards home will provide you an opportunity to look over their grades and come to the conference ready with feedback/questions.  Although you are receiving the report card ahead of time, we are still requiring parents to attend their scheduled conference time.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you soon.
