Weekly Challenges

Weekly Challenge 1: is to finish all previous week’s challenges. You can find all challenges on the left hand side of my blog, under the “Weekly Challenges Page.” All Weekly Challenges will be open this week and next week for you to complete.

Weekly Challenge 2: this can also be found on the weekly challenges page on the left hand side. This week exit’s ticket is labelled “Week of June 1-June 5”. For this challenge, you have a short video to watch and learn a new singing game, then answer a few reflection questions.

Remember, you need to use your @dearbornschools.org email to log in. We know this is sometimes inconvenient, but this is how we can keep track of you (and each Specials teacher has to keep track of 500+ students!).

Weekly Participation Awards:

Ms. Mroczka’s students have another victory this week, taking first place.

Ms. Mroczka’s Class 1st Place!

Ms. Cercone and Ms. Bazzy are tied for 2nd place this week!

Tied for 2nd Place: Ms. Cercone’s and Ms. Bazzy’s Classes

This week’s assignment has you choosing activities from a scavenger hunt board and reporting back on which activities you did. If you are in the kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade, you just need to tell me which activities you did. If you are in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade, you will need to answer a critical thinking question about the activity. The second weekly challenge is to listen to a story called “Penguin Problems” and think about how the music changes the mood of the story.
