WE HAVE BEEN WORKING VERY HARD ON OUR IEP GOALS!
LEARNING COLORS, LETTERS, LETTER SOUNDS, NUMBERS, AND COUNTING!

WE  HAVE BEEN WORKING SO HARD AND LISTENING SO WELL THAT WE HAD “FUN FRIDAY” LAST FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
WE GOT TO WATCH TROLLS AND EAT A SPECIAL POPCORN TREAT FROM MS.  BOWDELL! WE REALLY ENJOYED IT. 🙂

SOME OTHER THINGS WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON:

taha brought in chocolate-covered pretzels to share with his friends.
thank you so much, taha & mrs. othman!! 🙂 they were so yummy! the students loved them and taha was so excited to share with the class.

OUTSIDE OF EACH CLASSROOM IN THE SCHOOL THERE IS A PICTURE OF EACH STUDENT IN THAT CLASSROOM WITH AN INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE BELOW IT. IT WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL IDEA FROM MRS. MARVASO.

THIS SUMMER MS. BOWDELL SET UP A DONOR’S CHOOSE PROJECT TO HELP US RECEIVE LEARNING MATERIALS FOR OUR CLASSROOM … AND IT WAS FULLY FUNDED! 🙂
WE WERE SO EXCITED TO OPEN UP OUR NEW LEARNING MANIPULATIVES AND SEE WHAT WE GOT.

EATING YUMMY TREATS

HAVING CLASSROOM PICNICS
(IT WAS REALLY WET OUTSIDE THIS DAY)

we learned about the letter b.
we baked a letter b!

we learned about roller coasters.
we watched youtube video clips of roller coasters and pretended that we were riding a roller coaster. the kiddos made sure to put their arms up for the  big drops! 

we have been learning a lot!
working hard on achieving our iep goals.

some of us have been practicing coloring inside the lines.

we worked on our problem solving skills and working together as a team to put together a frozen puzzle! the kiddos worked really hard on it and are very good at puzzles!

reading interactive books about things that we can do in the summer.

enjoying the nice weather!!!

we will be going on two field trips in june:

–monday, june 5: field day at edsel ford
–monday, june 11: detroit zoo

the permission slips for both of these field trips have been sent home.
please sign and return the permission slips as soon as possible!
if we don’t have permission slips by the friday before each trip, your child will have to stay home that day.
