I hope you had a wonderful and restful Spring Break and ready to successfully complete the remainder of this School year! Are you refreshed and ready to do your best in the MSTEP, Spring NWEA and the last marking period for this school year? We will review your new learning and assessment goals you have set up for the second semester! With that said, I am confident you are ready to complete your 6th grade journey with a growth mindset because if you believe that you can, then you are already halfway there!

This week in Science:

We will complete our independent investigation about observable inherited traits through input and output science stations.
Lab Station quiz (Thursday for B-Day students and Friday for A-Day students)
Lecture powerpoint afterward with a goal to successfully answer the Essential Questions :

1.What are inherited traits?

2.How are traits governed by the genetic material found in the genes within chromosomes in the cell nucleus?
