Parent Teacher Conferences along with our annual Scholastic Book Fair is happening this week!

Conferences are on Monday 11/12 and Wednesday 11/14 between 4pm and 7pm.  Please make sure to pick up your child’s report card first from the atrium.  There will be a 5 minute time limit per parent conference.

Parents/Guardians, please visit the media center and atrium on conference evenings for the following:
  • To learn  about and sign up for Parent Connect (helps you monitor your child’s progress) and Google Classroom; Student leaders will be available to help you through this process.
  • If you are interested to join the PTA, please take/complete a membership form located in the atrium.
    • Note that students that have a parent sign up for membership will receive a Flex Friday “reward session” in December.
    • If you are unable to commit to a specific time as part of PTA, you could simply make a $10 donation.

Lastly, Viking Spirit Wear will also be available for purchase  along with our annual Scholastic Book Fair.

In Science this week:

  • We will finalize INPUT and OUTPUT Science Station labs to recognize the differences between prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
  • Lab Quiz on Wednesday (A-Day) and Thursday (B-Day)
  • Lecture on microorganisms and the 6 kingdoms they belong to.
  • Introduce Prokaryote & Eukaryote project with multiple presentation options available.  Students are able to work in small groups of no more than 3 members to a group.
