Last post for the 2018- 2019 school year! 

Wow I cannot believe how quickly time passed and we are closing our chapter in 6th grade!  I wish you a wonderful and safe summer break.  It was a wonderful and memorable school year and we will reminisce over it this week to recall our journey through 6th grade!

This week in Science, we will: 

  • Conclude our conversation topic over human impact on weather and the environment.
  • Complete a 6th grade Science curriculum review game through Quizizz.
  • Celebrate our memories and successes in 6th grade.
  • Write a letter to our future 6th graders advising them what they need to be successful in science!
  • Converse what topics you enjoyed most in science and what topics you struggled in.  Also, students will give me advice for next year!
  • Science E and F will be celebrating their NWEA success on Monday.

I will gift every student this week with the Science journal they created throughout the school year.  I am hoping they will add it to their home library and use it to review for the Science M-STEP in 8th grade.

Again, thank you very much for a wonderful and memorable school year.  I truly enjoyed every moment with your child and I look forward to seeing them as 7th graders in the hallway next year, clapping in our new 6th graders!
