Our PBIS and PTA teams are looking for parent volunteers to help out on Field Day (June 9, 2017). If you are able to do so, please stop by the office for additional information.
Field Day is on Friday June 9, 2017.
There will be no school this Friday 5/26 and Monday 5/29 to remember our fallen soldiers who served our country.
Dearborn will be having its annual parade on Monday 5/29. Information about this parade is below:
- The 89th annual Memorial Day parade will invite community members to commemorate the sacrifices made by current service members and veterans. The theme of the 2013 parade is POWs/MIAs. Come sit along Michigan Avenue and watch boy scout troops, nonprofits, elected officials and veterans march in the parade!
  This year will feature Grand Marshals Ambassador Charles A. Ray and Sen. Carl Levin, as well as Special Marshal Christopher Stone, a Michigan resident and former prisoner of war.
  The parade will run from Greenfield Road to Schaefer. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. at the war memorial in front of Dearborn City Hall.
Students who showed 13 points or more growth on their Science NWEA will be invited this week for a pizza lunch in my classroom (Wednesday & Thursday).

In science this week….

Students will have 2 reading assignments posted on Google Classroom (one posted on Friday 5/19, and the other one on Monday 5/22) to be completed and submitted before Thursday.
A small group project will be introduced this week for students to work on in class and at home. This project is due next week.
Weathering, Erosion and Deposition open-book test will be given this week. (includes notes from last week’s labs, this week’s lecture, ERC and Google Maps assignment).
