AP Government: Internships & Scholarships

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell Internships – students have volunteered in the past at her local Dearborn office. Highly recommended for students interested in resume building and a career in politics/civil service.

Michigan State University: James Madison College Scholarships (Year One Students) – I have invited representatives from JMC to visit our AP Gov classrooms the last few years. JMC is a rigorous college program within MSU that combines many disciplines within the social sciences and leaves students highly prepared for a career in government, politics, public policy, education, human services, and many more. Program majors include International Relations, Comparative Cultures and Politics, Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. Students also have opportunities for field experiences within the program as well.
