Welcome back!
This week we will be differentiating between physical and chemical changes/reactions using Nearpod, demonstrations and conducting experiments.
This week we will be interpreting phase diagrams and prepare for our end-of-unit exam.
This week we will practice using Energy Transfer (LOL) diagrams.
This week we will be conducting a phase change lab, graphing and analyzing data, while exploring heat curves. Multiple content related demonstrations will also be conducted to celebrate Halloween!
This week we will be starting a new unit on energy. We will work towards answering essential questions such as:
What is energy?
What is meant by conservation of energy?
How is energy transferred between objects or systems?
If energy is conserved, why do people say it is produced or used?
This week we will continue working on pressure calculations and reviewing. Take another look at the calculation videos in the video tab if you need help.
This week we will continue to learn about pressure and the different factors that affect it, such as temperature, number of particles and volume.
This week we will conduct multiple demonstrations related to pressure and particle collisions.
