Classroom Rules
- Respect yourself and others.
- Bring all required materials to class.
- Be seated at your desk when the bell rings.
- Do not start packing up when the 5 minute bell rings.
- Do not eat or drink in class. (only water is allowed)
- Do not call out while the teacher is talking. Raise your hand.
- Sign out when you are given permission to leave the class.
- Return homework and projects on time.
- Do not use profanity in class.
- Do not make any sounds that will disturb the class.
- Do not cheat during any quizzes, tests, exams, etc.
- Speak to each other in English.

- Verbal warning

Procedures for Mr. Sader’s class
Coming into the classroom:
- Walk into the classroom and place your belongings at your seat.
- Follow the directions on the board.
- Work on Bell Work Question(s).
- Sharpen your pencils.
- Ask the teacher any questions.
During class time:
- After reading content and language objectives as a class, ask for clarification if needed.
- Unless otherwise instructed, raise your hand if you would like to answer a question or contribute to the discussion.
- If you are sharpening your pencil, and someone begins to talk, stop until they are done talking.
- Passes to the restroom will not be issued during the beginning of the lesson.
When your work has been completed:
- Keep all materials at your seat.
- Read or find a quiet activity to do at your seat.
- Wait for instructions about the collection of materials or what will happen next.
When you have been absent from school:
- It is your responsibility to get the previous days work and complete it.
- You will have as many days to complete your assignment as you were absent. Assignments that are not completed in the time allowed will receive no credit.
