Winter Time
Parents and Guardians,
The snow is blowing, the roads are rough, and there is a chance your student will be home from school in the near future. Just because they’re not at school doesn’t mean that they can’t keep learning. Here’s what you can do to help:
- Go to LearnZillion.com
LearnZillion is a free website – also accessible on mobile devices — that provides teachers, parents and students with short video lessons that cover the content your student needs to learn this year.
- Use an “LZ Quick Code” to access lessons
The “LZ codes” listed at the end of this letter are for the lessons that your student needs to understand by the end of this year. When you get to LearnZillion.com, type the LZ codes into the search bar on the homepage (see picture). The codes will bring you to lessons for your student. Your student can watch the videos alone, or with you. If you want, you can experiment with quizzes and other features accessible from the lesson page.
I hope this is helpful for you. Remember, if you have questions or need any guidance, you can contact me or the LearnZillion team at support@learnzillion.com.
Thank you for supporting your student’s learning at home. Let me know if you have any questions.
