Please remember to study your multiplication tables during the break. Memorizing the multiplication tables will help you when solving multi-step equations that involve exponents and distributive property.
In addition, please read at least for 1/2 hour everyday.

Things to Take Care of Before the End of Marking Period 2
The project is due tomorrow 11/29. Please make sure you follow the check- list before submitting your project.
Interactive Notebooks are due Wednesday 11/30. Please make sure to update your notebooks and the table of contents.
The ending date of Marking Period 2 is on 12/3. Please make sure you return any missing work and finish the IXL assignments.

Science Project
Energy Flows in an Ecosystem
You will have a project that will summarize your learning about how energy powers our ecosystem.
In this project you have to
- classify each organism in a freshwater ecosystem as producer, herbivore, omnivore or carnivore.
- make a food web for the set of organisms that was provided to you to show how energy flows. (make sure the arrows go in the right direction).
- answer each question in a complete sentence.( Remember that each sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a period).
- Spelling and neatness count The project is due after the Thanks-Giving break on Tuesday 12/29

Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal
School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”
If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools. Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years. (more…)
