SLOT: Graphing linear equations

Students will learn how to  find solutions to system of equations by graphing . Students will practice skill in groups.

Unit of Study: Fiction/ Informational Texts (Apply Reading strategies)

Students will read and analyze fiction and  informational texts  and apply reading comprehension strategies .

They will cite textual evidence to support claim.

PSAT Practice

U.S. History

Lesson focus: Westward Movement

Students will read informational texts/ Talk- to Text about Westward Movement .

They will orally present it.

Students will learn new academic vocabulary related to topic.

Study Skills

This week’s focus will be Converting Fraction to Decimals to Percentage & Distributive Property.

Physical Science

Unit of Study: Analog & Digital Technology

They will read and analyze informational texts. Formative assessments:  Complete vocabulary foldable/ Oral presentation of informational articles.

They will learn new academic vocabulary.
