Students will learn how to determine if a relation is a function using Mapping diagram/ table/ graph.

Unit of Study: Narrative text ” The Tell -Tale Heart”/ Genre: Thriller

Mini lessons: Write a summary-    Tone/ Mood

Students will apply Close & Critical Reading (4 squares) and will orally present it.

They will cite textual evidence to support claim.

U.S. History

Lesson focus: Declaration of Independence

Students will read and analyze 4 sections of Declaration of independence.

They will paraphrase each section.

Student will learn new academic vocabulary related to Declaration of Independence.

Study Skills

This week’s focus will be Coordinate plane/ graphing ordered pairs.

Khan Academy ( Online practice- the Number System).

Physical Science

Unit of Study: Force & Motion_ continue

They will read and analyze informational texts about formation of Craters. Formative assessments:  Oral presentation of informational article.

They will learn new academic vocabulary.
