Unit of Study: – Solving system of equations by graphing and substitution.

– Square roots and perfect squares

*Test on Wednesday  Dec. 6 (Solving system of equations by graphing and substitution)

ELA

Students will read and analyze an argumentative article by citing textual evidence..

They will  analyze argumentative writing elements and identifies its text features .

They will start writing their summative argumentative essay (Intro/ First Body paragraph)

Physical Science

Unit of Study: Space/Solar System /review   Moon phases we took last week.

Students will learn about solar system and Moon phases .

• Test on Tuesday Dec. 5  about Moon phases.

U.S. History

Unit of Study:  Declaration of Independence and its four sections

Students will analyze Declaration of Independence (Preamble/ Natural Rights/ Grievances/ Declaration) and will paraphrase each section.

• Test on Thursday Dec. 7  about Declaration of Independence.
