Pre-algebra

Unit of Study: Finding Slope using graphs, tables, 2 points , and slope intercept form equation.

Students will solve real life problems related to slope.

ELA

Students will read and analyze a persuasive article ” Should Cafeterias Have Assigned Seats?”

They will  analyze text by citing textual evidence.

They will apply Close and Critical Reading Framework.

They will learn about persuasive techniques (Ethos/ Logos/ Pathos).

Physical Science

Unit of Study: Energy/ Forms of Energy(continue it)

Students  will orally present their book report about forms of energy.

New Unit of Study: Space and Gravity

Students will learn about orbit, gravity, and Eclipse.

U.S. History

Unit of Study:  Causes of Revolution (Battles)

Venn Diagram about Loyalists/ Patriots

Timeline of Battles (causes/ effect thinking Map)

Students will read an informational book and complete Cornell Notes.
