Lessons for Thursday 3/18

Dear parents & students,

Make sure to follow my plan for today as assigned. You will have Science today. I will be checking your scores on iXL Math and BrainPop .

I will send you a screenshoot of packet/ book on Remind. Do it on a small notebook.

Your schedule for the day

8:00- 8:55 a.m. Wake up early and have your healthy breakfast.

9:00 -10:00 a.m. Math: iXL practice ( Make sure to sign in using your username and password first in order to see your score and grade you)

Grades: scores 90-100 A / 80-90 B / 70 C

Go to 8th grade Math. Practice skill : Y. Linear equations y=mx+b

11Convert a linear equation in standard form to slope-intercept form

12Graph a line from an equation in standard form

10:15 – 11:15 a.m. Language Arts : Number all pages of the packet

**Do pages 9-10 of the assigned packet (Antonyms)

** If you did not report to school and pick up your packet, i will send you a screenshoot (picture) of the packet/ book each day. Do it on a small notebook.

11: 30 – 12:30 a.m. Reading

Group A ( My lovely kids)** Read one story and summarize it on a small notebook to be graded after we come back. Be organized. Write title of your story and date.

Group B-C-D-E (My lovely kids) **Read from History -Alive textbook pages 39-40-41  about Age of Exploration and write at least 6 significant facts for each section on a small notebook to be graded after we come back. Be organized. Write title of chapter, page numbers and date.

** If you did not report to school and pick up your stories and book, go to Mobymax Reading Skills Literature and practice for 60 minutes.

12:30 -2:00 a.m. Eat lunch/ Play outside/ Sit with family/Rest

2:00 – 2:45 a.m ( Take breaks in between) BrianBOP Science
