Pre-algebra : Unit of Study: Lesson 14: Solutions of Linear equations-continue

Students will learn how to solve a linear equation using inverse operations and apply distributive property. (Group work/ Independent skill).

Formative Assessments:   daily 

ELA: Unit of Study: Nonfiction/ fiction texts

Students will close read texts and make predictions based on textual evidence.

U.S. History / Unit of Study:  The Westward Expansion

Students will read and analyze informational texts related to pioneers traveling west. They will complete foldables. They will learn about pioneer’s reason to moving west.

Student will learn new academic vocabulary. They will complete thinking maps and orally present it as a group.

Study Skills : Lesson Focus: Angle Relationships/ Parallel Lines cut by a transversal

Students will work in groups to find measurements of angles.

Physical Science : Unit of Study: History of Earth- Rock Cycle

They will read informational articles, learn new academic vocabulary, and write facts about types of rocks and the rock cycle . They will create foldables.
